The Nightbringer was once the personification of death, a sadistic god with the power to destroy stars and a hunger for the life of the galaxy. Like all C'tan, it was shattered by the Necrons, and fragments of its madness continue to be enslaved by those who once ruled. A single shard of the Nightbringer can devastate entire armies. They wield scythe-like blades of necrodermis, with which they cut down foes in great sweeps of entropic destruction. Meanwhile, their gaze is death itself, capable of draining the essential animus from their victims.
